Michael Poll is director, talent and development, with AbbVie where he leads talent management and development efforts in building culture and leadership aligned to “The AbbVie Way” for the world’s newest global biopharmaceutical company.

He’s responsible for the global continuous development leadership curriculum strategy, digital learning design and enablement, and delivery of talent solutions that drive performance. At AbbVie, he’s had a significant impact in shaping efforts around career development, new employee onboarding, change management and culture development.

Poll has built the strategy and developed talent functions from the ground up at several different companies. In addition to the biopharmaceutical industry, he’s led talent teams for technology, insurance, oil and gas, higher education and automotive organizations.

Alysa Parks is Spencer Stuart’s senior vice president of learning and development. She leads the global learning team focused on internal employee development across 56 offices in 31 countries.

Parks has deep experience in learning, talent development and organizational effectiveness. She has held positions in learning and development and marketing at ZS Associates, CDW, Indeliq: an Accenture Company, Motorola, and Sun Microsystems.

She enjoys serving on the board of directors of the Youth Job Center, an organization that prepares youth ages 14 to 25 for success in the workplace. Parks has also been a professional pinball player for more than 20 years. She earned an MBA from the University of California at Berkeley, Haas School of Business and a bachelor’s in psychology and French from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.

Dana Palmblad serves as Segment Sales Director within Kaplan Professional’s Learning and Professional Development team.  Leveraging more than 30 years of professional expertise in sales and leadership development, Dana works closely with client companies to align Kaplan’s extensive expertise and resources with their organizational objectives to deliver integrated technical and behavioral learning experiences that have an immediate and measurable impact, resulting in positive business outcomes and a profitable return on investment.

Palmblad began his career in the financial services industry and has served in numerous leadership roles in many different industries.  He brings a broad range of experience in all aspects of business; strategy planning and execution, sales, marketing, business development, product management and professional services.  His background and experience working with the Center for Creative Leadership and the Miller Heiman Group in the design and implementation of transformational sales and leadership development initiatives bring additional insight and experience to the Kaplan Professional team.

 

Jason Oliver is currently vice president of human resources, in charge of AT&T University Operations companywide. In this role, Oliver is responsible for training and development for all AT&T employees and strategic partners across the globe. He leads the teams responsible for designing and delivering innovative curriculum to meet training needs and drive a culture of continuous learning.

Prior to this role, Oliver served as vice president-talent acquisition leading all talent attraction, employee branding, recruitment and staffing efforts globally for AT&T.

Oliver has 19 years of experience in the telecom industry, and began his career with AT&T Wireless in 2000 as a recruiting coordinator in Seattle, Washington. Since then, he has held a series of diverse strategic and tactical roles across the human resource function.

Oliver holds a bachelor’s in business management from Seattle University and an MBA from the Michael J. Coles School of Business at Kennesaw State University.

Oliver and his wife Andrea have two boys, Carter and Cole, and currently reside in Frisco, Texas. His hobbies include global travel, sports, community outreach and spending time with family and friends.

Molly Nagler became Chief Learning Officer of PepsiCo in February 2019. She is responsible for a learning strategy that equips PepsiCo’s workforce to delight consumers around the world. PepsiCo is a Fortune 50 company with more than 260,000 employees.

Previously, Nagler was senior associate dean for executive education at Yale School of Management. In this role, Nagler led a talented group in delivering 70+ executive development programs a year on such topics as customer insights, sustainability, global leadership, and managing high-performance teams. Programs ranged from 2 days to 6 weeks and were delivered to global audiences at Yale and abroad. Under Nagler’s leadership, executive education doubled its program revenue while expanding into online courses that netted high participant satisfaction scores and completion rates above 90%.

Before joining Yale, Nagler was director of strategic alliances at UC Berkeley Center for Executive Education, where she built international partnerships and worked with corporate clients on customized leadership programs.

Nagler has also worked as a copy editor. While she remains devoted to the Oxford comma, she left the editing profession to pursue a Master of Public Policy degree from UC Berkeley. She has a bachelor’s in English literature from the College of William and Mary.

Tamera Maresh-Carver is the managing director of global learning and development at FedEx Express where she is responsible for organizational effectiveness, global leadership training, management skills training, training technology, and data analytics.

She began her career with FedEx in 1998, starting as a delivery courier and moving up the ranks of management. She has held numerous leadership positions across the country and has led global learning and development since 2017. Maresh-Carver’s accomplishments include:

  • Three-time winner of the prestigious FedEx Five Star award.
  • Quality Expert in 2015.
  • Four time Quality award finalist for project leadership.
  • Outstanding people results.

Maresh-Carver holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master’s in organizational psychology. In both academic pursuits she graduated with distinction. She lives in Germantown, Tennessee, with her spouse, son, and two rescue dogs and is passionate about golf and women’s basketball.
